A recent study revealed that two in five adults would fake a sick day if they needed a break from work. With that in mind, Resume.io
sought to find what male and female employees are most likely to pull a sickie at work! Resume.io interviewed 60,000 workers to find out which of them have lied when calling in sick to work. From the results, they found the most common male and female names that have faked a sickie at work and asked how often they do it, alongside the most common reasons and excuses.

Reasons for pulling a sickie at work
When asked about the reasons for pretending to be sick to get a day off work, 91% of the respondents revealed
